Artist Sherree Valentine Daines was born in 1956 in Effingham, Surrey. She came from an artistic family; her father was a sculptor and stonemason. Following on from her early education, Valentine-Daines went on to study at the Epsom School of Art and design between 1976-1980. Shortly after graduating art school, she won a number of accolades including the Young Artist of the Year Award from the Royal Society. Thereafter, her career began to flourish, art lovers were captivated by her highly appealing impressionistic style paintings, enabling to capture figural compositions with subtle elegance. Commissions began to follow from celebrity collectors such as Lord Sabastian Coe, Michael Parkinson, along with sporting commissions from the England Rugby team and England Cricket team through to notably members of the Royal family.
