Allan Morgan is a professional artist living on the borders of Herefordshire and Powys. Born in 1952, Allan study at Swansea and Coventry Art Colleges gaining a B.A. in fine art. A successful career in illustration soon followed and Allan was working for several major publishing companies. But with a love of landscape painting combined with his highly skilful brush techniques he was soon fortunate enough to work full time on his own projects. His realistic canvases of the Gower Peninsular and Mid-Wales landscapes soon became much in demand. Allan has also extended his style to encompass a more colourist approach with some of his work. This is embodied in the combination of his love of light, colour and atmosphere, to produce spectacular results. His works have been shown in many exhibitions throughout the UK and Allan’s paintings are also held in collections abroad.
