Adrian Rigby was born in Chorley, Lancashire. After studying at Blackpool College of Art, Adrian embarked on a short career as a commercial artist. His artistic talent, love for nature and wildlife inspired him to become a full-time professional artist. Working in a mixed medium such as watercolour, gouache and acrylics, Adrian has forged a very successful career as a world renown artist. His works have been exhibited widely, including America, and in 1992-3 his exhibition, call of the wild was held at Warrington Museum & Art Gallery. In 2001 one of Adrian Rigby’s wildlife paintings were selected for exhibition in the prestigious ‘Birds in Art’ event at the Leigh Yawhee Woodson Art Museum in America.
