Welcome to Carnes Fine Art October newsletter. It’s certainly been a busy month so far. I would like to express my sincere thanks to clients and friends who attended the Manchester Art Fair last weekend. Our first time exhibiting at this fair and it was hugely enjoyable! Thank you to clients who bought work, your custom was greatly appreciated. I was especially pleased to hear the lovely comments regarding the work we had on offer. We look forward to exhibiting at the Manchester Art Fair next year, so please save the date 9th – 11th October 2020.
We have a number of new pieces including brand new works from Lancashire wildlife artist, Michael Demain along with new works by our favourite Lake District artist, Simon Whitfield. Both Michael and Simons’ works are proving really popular, their new works are now available and on display in the gallery.
New sculptures have arrived by Darrell Evanes. One piece in particular will be an instant hit with Star Wars fans, ‘Interference of Light’ is inspired by the original 1979 Millennium Falcon. Darrell is open to commissions so if you have something in mind please do get in touch.
Sandie Hendersons’ bronze sculpture ‘Etrusco’ has now arrived and is available in the gallery. I must say, Castle Foundry have done a stirling job, the patination is extraordinary. This limited edition 2/10 will undoubtedly receive admiration and appreciation.
We have added more work by Geoffrey Key, this recent acquisition titled ‘Still Life Lilies’ is full of energy and displays such vivid colours, a must see when visiting the gallery.
Carnes Fine Art will be open for late night Christmas shopping on Wednesday 13th November and Wednesday 4th Dec 10:00am – 9:00pm
A special event at the gallery on evening of the 4th December…more details to follow soon!
