I would like to extend my warmest welcome to our new gallery artist, Amber Tyldesley.
We’re delighted to be collaborating with Amber and showcasing her original wildlife paintings here at Carnes Fine Art.
Amber is a professional wildlife artist from Warrington, Cheshire. Her high-impact pieces feature a striking level of detail and offer a fresh take on traditional realism.
Working primarily in acrylics, Amber often incorporates high-gloss resin into her work as the final step in her process. She finds that resin heightens the colours and contrasts of the artwork in addition to giving a distinctive contemporary finish.
Amber has been a finalist in the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation ‘Wildlife Artist of the Year’ competition for the past three consecutive years, receiving highly-commended awards from the judging panel on each occasion. Her jaguar piece ‘Closing In’ was also voted the ‘People’s Choice’ winner 2019.
Amber was chosen to be the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation’s first ‘Artist of the Month’ during July 2020, with sales raising over £2000 for the charity. Supporting conservation efforts remains at the heart of her work, and over the past three years artwork sales have raised over £9000 for projects across Africa and Asia. She views her art as a way to connect with unfamiliar and endangered species, and to in turn raise awareness for their precarious position within the world.
Amber’s original works feature in private collections across the UK and around the world, including Europe, Australia, Qatar and the US.
