Mark Rowbotham was born in 1959. He attended Epsom School of Art where he achieved a degree in fine art. Mark has been a professional artist for a number of years; his figurative studies are highly recognisable, choosing to work in mediums such as oil and pastel. Early Impressionist painters have heavily influenced Marks’ work, his compositions display subtle soft tones, delicate form and vitality.
Mark was presented with the coveted Patterson Award by The Royal Pastel Society and later became a member of this prestigious society. Notable exhibitions include The Mall Gallery London, The Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours, The Royal Portrait Society, The Royal Institute of Oil Painters and The New English Art Club.
Mark, together with his wife Sherree Valentine-Daines have continued to have a highly successful career, Marks’ work is held in the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Collection and within private collections in the UK and around the world.
