Born in Sheffield, Kay studied illustration at Wrexham College and later embarked on a career as a freelance illustrator for Women’s Weekly, Bella, Woman’s Own and the Sunday Express. On the back of a successful career with the aforementioned magazines, newspapers and book publishers, Kay’s independent artistic career has continued to thrive and she has produced an enviable portfolio of accomplished works of art. Her achievements earned Kay a top ten place for ‘Best Published Artist’, forth in 2004 and eighth in 2008.
