Hilary Burnett Cooper is a Yorkshire based artist. Hilary studied Graphic Design at Jacob Kramer Art College in Leeds before becoming a full-time professional artist. Hilary’s works take much inspiration from the British coastline and her passion for European cities including Venice. Hilary’s paintings are full of vitality, vibrant colours, luminous light and evoke fond memories of our own family holidays on sun packed beaches around the UK.
Hilary has achieved success at the ‘Yorkshire Artist Exhibition’ in Ilkley, runner-up in the ‘Art in Nature Competition’ and the ‘St. Cuthbert’s Mill Bockingford Millennium Competition’. She has excelled and was winner of the ‘Daler-Rowney Award’ at Patchings Art Centre Nottingham in 2000 and winner of the ‘Clairefontaine Award’ in 2011.
Hilary exhibits works in fine art galleries throughout the UK and has a growing clientele of private and corporate collectors including the Halifax Building Society.
