William Henry Mander (1850–1922)
Birmingham landscape artist who painted scenes of the Midlands and North Wales in a style similar to Benjamin William Leader. Mander exhibited between 1882 and 1914 and although he never showed his paintings in London he was a frequent exhibitor at The Royal Society of Artists in Birmingham together with his contemporaries David Bates and B W Leader. Mander also exhibited pictures at the Royal Cambrian Academy.
